Create Recycled Sea Weavings with Hilary Tobin

Join us as we create sea weavings using reclaimed lobster bait bags, seaweed, shells, yarn, and other found natural materials. Participants’ final work is an artistic representation of the coast of Maine in its rugged and natural beauty. All materials provided but you are welcome to bring your own sea treasures to include in your weaving.
Hilary Tobin is an artist and the owner of Island Meadow Arts in Blue Hill, offering studio-based art classes for kids as well as for adults. Hilary inspires students to explore, to be curious and to create. Class is limited to 12 participants: ages 8 and older.
